Manufactured from strips of ceramic abrasive cloth wrapped and bonded onto a reinforced cotton support, these professional spirabands provide fast, controlled material removal across small components, profiles, edges and difficult-to-reach areas.

Rosver Ceramic Spirabands are designed for use with correctly sized expanding rubber sleeve holders. As the holder rotates, centrifugal force expands the rubber and securely grips the abrasive band during operation.

The reinforced ceramic abrasive-cloth construction delivers an effective cutting action for demanding grinding applications on aluminium and steel. Ceramic abrasive grain makes these spirabands particularly well suited to applications where strong cutting performance and efficient stock removal are required.

Their compact cylindrical shape allows the abrasive to work effectively on small surfaces, internal openings, curved components, profiles, edges and restricted areas where conventional abrasive discs may not provide suitable access.

Available in P40, P60 and P80 grit, the range provides options for aggressive material removal through to controlled blending and surface preparation.

Each spiraband must be used with a compatible expanding rubber holder of the corresponding size. Always ensure the abrasive band is fully seated and securely fitted before operating the machine.

Always match the dimensions of the Ceramic Spiraband to the expanding rubber holder. The maximum operating speed of the abrasive band, holder and machine must also be compatible.

STORAGE & HANDLING

Store Rosver Ceramic Spirabands in a clean, dry environment away from moisture, excessive heat, direct sunlight and contamination. Where possible, keep the abrasive bands in their original packaging until required.

Inspect each spiraband and expanding rubber holder before use. Do not use abrasive bands that are torn, creased, distorted, heavily worn or incorrectly fitted. Replace damaged or excessively worn holders before fitting a new spiraband.

Always disconnect the machine from its power supply before fitting or removing an abrasive band. Ensure the spiraband is fully seated on a clean, correctly sized holder before operating the machine.

Do not exceed the maximum RPM specified for the spiraband, expanding holder or machine. Where different maximum speeds are stated, always follow the lowest permitted speed.

Always use appropriate PPE and allow the ceramic abrasive grain to perform the cutting action without applying unnecessary pressure.
