Always use appropriate PPE, including safety glasses and gloves. Brush away from the body and keep hands clear of sharp edges, loose wire and surface debris.

Inspect the brush before use and do not use it if the wire fill is heavily worn, loose or contaminated, or if the wooden handle is cracked or damaged.

Apply controlled pressure during use. Excessive pressure can bend the wire unnecessarily, damage delicate surfaces and shorten the working life of the brush. Test on a small area first where the appearance of the finished surface is important.
