WEILER - CRIMPED WIRE BEVEL BRUSH
The Weiler Crimped Wire Bevel Brush is a versatile wire brush designed for weld cleaning, corrosion removal, deburring and general surface preparation on steel and other suitable ferrous metals.
Its bevelled shape and flexible crimped-wire construction allow the brush to follow contours and irregular surfaces while providing controlled, consistent contact with the workpiece. This makes it particularly effective for cleaning corners, edges, joints and other areas that can be difficult to access with a conventional cup or wheel brush.
Manufactured with 0.30mm crimped steel wire and supplied in a 100mm diameter, the brush is designed for professional use with compatible right-angle grinders.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Weiler Crimped Wire Bevel Brush provides an effective and controlled brushing action for cleaning, deburring and surface-preparation applications.
Its flexible crimped steel wire is suitable for removing rust, corrosion, scale, dirt, coatings and other surface contamination without the highly aggressive action associated with a twist-knot brush. The wire construction provides excellent surface contact and allows the brush to work effectively across profiles, contours and slightly irregular surfaces.
The angled brushing face allows the operator to clean welds, corners, edges and joints while maintaining controlled contact with the workpiece.
This general-use version is manufactured with 0.30mm steel wire and is primarily intended for steel and suitable ferrous-metal applications.
Product specification:

KEY BENEFITS
• Flexible crimped-wire construction for controlled cleaning
• Effective for weld cleaning and strong corrosion removal
• Bevelled shape follows irregular and contoured surfaces
• Ideal for cleaning corners, edges, joints and profiles
• Suitable for removing rust, scale, dirt and surface contamination
• Less aggressive brushing action than a twist-knot wire brush
• Excellent surface contact across larger and uneven areas
• Manufactured with durable 0.30mm steel wire
• M14 threaded fitting for compatible right-angle grinders
• Professional performance for fabrication, engineering and maintenance work
RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS
Ideal for weld cleaning, rust removal, corrosion removal, scale removal, coating removal, general deburring and metal-surface preparation.
The bevelled profile and flexible crimped wire make the brush particularly suitable for working on corners, edges, profiles, joints, contours and somewhat irregular metal surfaces.
Perfect for welders, fabricators, engineering workshops, maintenance teams, steelworkers and metalworking professionals requiring a controlled alternative to a more aggressive twist-knot brush.
Suitable for use with:
• Compatible right-angle grinders
• Machines with a suitable M14 spindle
• Equipment operating within the maximum RPM stated on the brush
This general-use steel-wire version is primarily intended for suitable steel and ferrous-metal applications. When working on stainless steel or special alloys, use a brush with an appropriate INOX or stainless-steel wire specification to help prevent surface contamination.
STORAGE & HANDLING
Store in a clean, dry environment away from moisture, contamination and corrosive materials.
Do not exceed the maximum RPM stated on the brush or use it with a machine operating at an incompatible speed. Always use appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, protective clothing and face protection.
Inspect the brush before use and do not use it if the wire, body or threaded fitting is damaged, heavily worn or distorted. Always ensure the M14 thread, machine guard and operating speed are suitable before use.
Allow the brush to perform the cleaning action without applying excessive pressure. Excessive pressure can reduce brushing efficiency, increase wire fatigue and shorten the working life of the brush.
