Karbosan – CER12 GRITEX Ceramic Fibre Disc
The Karbosan CER12 GRITEX Ceramic Fibre Disc represents the highest-performance fibre disc in the Karbosan range. Engineered for extreme stock removal, maximum durability, and outstanding cutting consistency, this premium ceramic disc is designed for the most demanding industrial grinding and surface preparation applications on hard metals and alloys.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The CER12 GRITEX Fibre Disc is manufactured using advanced ceramic abrasive grain technology bonded to a heavy-duty vulcanised fibre backing. The ceramic grain provides an aggressive, self-sharpening cutting action that maintains peak performance throughout the life of the disc, even under sustained high pressure.
Designed for professional fabricators, welders, and heavy industry users, the CER12 delivers exceptional cut rates, reduced grinding time, and superior longevity when working on stainless steel (INOX), high alloy steels, and other difficult materials.
This is the premium solution where performance, speed, and disc life are critical.
KEY BENEFITS

STORAGE & HANDLING
Store flat in a dry, clean environment away from moisture, extreme temperatures, and direct sunlight. Always ensure compatibility with your grinder or machine, and do not exceed the stated maximum RPM.
Before use, inspect discs for damage or defects — do not use discs that have cracks, chips, or visible deformities. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including eye protection, gloves, hearing protection, and respiratory protection when grinding. Follow machine manufacturer safety guidelines at all times.

Typical sizes include 115 × 22.23mm, 125 × 22.23mm and 180 × 22.23mm in grit size P36+.
